REGISTRATION

At ICCI, there are two ways to participate, and all students—regardless of their track—get full access to all lectures and classes. The key difference lies in private lessons:

  • Observer Track for Composers → Open to everyone! Simply register, make your payment (see instructions below), and you're in—no application or approval required. Observer Track students can watch small-group private lessons for all instructors (master class style) and fully participate in all classes for groups.

  • Auditioned Track for Composers → This track requires an application (free to apply). You must submit the required materials (see details below) and wait for acceptance. If selected, you’ll actively participate in small-group private lessons and receive one-on-one coaching with an instructor (Note: first come, first served for instructor selection). You will also attend large-group sessions with experts on various topics AND learn from a different representative of publishing houses daily. The week culminates with a reading session and concert of students' works. (Concert selections made by audition.)

  • Auditioned Track for Lyricists → This track requires an application (free to apply). You must submit the required materials (see details below) and wait for acceptance. If selected, you’ll be able to observe composing master classes in small-group private lessons and receive one-on-one lyric-writing coaching with renowned lyricist and poet, Tony Silvestri. You will also attend large-group sessions on composing on various topics AND learn from a different representative of publishing houses daily. The week culminates with a reading session and concert of students' works. Lyricists will either have their poetry/lyrics read aloud OR performed in a choral work IF approved. (Concert selections made by audition.)

If your application is denied, no worries! You can still register for the Observer Track, fully attend all lectures and classes, and have front-row seats to observe small-group lessons master-class style.
